The Heart Behind the Light
As a dual Florida certified educator and ‘School Mommy’ for over three decades, Miss Sudnick brings grounded wisdom and tender-hearted magic into every interaction and connection. Her journey began long before social-emotional learning had a name — she created her first classroom peace place more than 30 years ago, a sanctuary of breathwork, identifying feelings, self-regulation, music, conflict resolution, and mindfulness, guided by her intuitive knowing. Years later, she would discover Dr. Becky Bailey’s Conscious Discipline — a framework she now infuses, not imitates.
With concentrated expertise in neurodivergence, autism spectrum disorder, and various exceptionalities, Miss Sudnick has become a trusted support for children navigating emotional overwhelm, sensory sensitivities, IEP advocacy, and growth in emotional regulation. Her methods are soulful, musical, and rooted in play — weaving together creativity, art, movement, breathwork, and connection.
She is not only an educator; she is a lighthouse. Her purpose is to shine her light so children see their own brilliance, embody their uniqueness, and share that light with the world — exactly as they are, not who the world tells them to be.

🫶🏽 My Heart Statement
I believe every child is born radiant, wise, and whole. My role is not to fix or fill them, but to reflect their brilliance so they feel safe, seen, and connected as they grow and shine.
Through music, movement, art, mindfulness, and breathwork, I create spaces where Littles, families, and fellow providers discover clarity, courage, and connection.
When children learn to notice their feelings as messengers, they trust their inner compass. With tools of self-regulation and co-regulation, they grow in confidence, love, and awareness — rippling their light into families, classrooms, and communities.
Why My Heart Shines
Every time a Little breathes deeply instead of shutting down, every time a caregiver softens instead of snapping, every time a child learns their feelings are safe, sacred, and valid — the world shifts toward the light. That is why my heart shines.
